Drop-In Respite

A few hours that are yours. Your loved one spends them somewhere safe and engaged, with people who know how to be with them.

What actually happens

Drop-in respite is non-medical. Your loved one joins a small group for supervised activities — music, conversation, movement, things that are engaging without being demanding. Staff are experienced with dementia and know that a good session is measured in comfort, not output.

You do not have to justify how you use the time. Some caregivers run errands. Some sleep. Both are the point.

🕑

A few hours at a time

Sessions are short by design, so a first visit is a small step rather than a big decision.

🤝

Supervised and non-medical

Experienced staff, structured activity, no clinical care — we will tell you plainly if we are not the right fit.

🏠

Somewhere familiar

The same faces and the same room each time, which matters more than it sounds.

Coming to a session

Places are limited, so sessions are booked in advance. Upcoming dates are listed on the events calendar, and we are happy to talk through a first visit before you commit to one.
